Personally, I'd love to see her get the CBS gig. 1) She'd no longer be on "The Today Show." 2) Once in the CBS anchor seat, their news program would tank even further. Here tenure there would be as short-lived as Connie Chung's on whichever network foisted that experiment on the viewing public. I'm convinced only a very small number of people, mostly people in Cambridge and Berkeley, would want to watch "The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric."
Katie won't play well on HDTV. That little place or her lip that looks like she bit a lamp cord will just jump of the screen at you.
