And just this morning I was telling my 12-year-old that you know you have won the argument when the other side compares you to Hitler or the Nazis. Isn't there a term for this?
Oh, look! Chomsky-lite, for the new generation. He needs to read some Piekoff. Not that he ever will.
". . . or that that person expects that ANYONE would actually read the entire thing!"
Somewhere halfway through the (for lack of a better word) essay, I realized I was reading the ramblings of a highly delusional person. The photo of him in the response below yours clearly shows it. (His eyes! My G-d, what was he smoking?)
What I'm about to write probably merits a vanity post of its own, but I'm convinced that Bush incites these kind of people because he is a father figure. Republicans are father figures, even the women. Obviously this man, who "studied" in Tibet & probably on the moon, has serious issues with his family.
There is a saying: a conservative loves his dad, a liberal his mother.
I've been saying for a long time that the left is lunacy: here's your proof. The good news is that the more unhinged the left becomes, the more it validates the sanity of conservatism; that the response to W is frequently deranged is proof that his character upsets the demons.
The whole "insanity" thing is getting heavy rotation on the left lately and I submit to you that it is Howard Dean's influence, either direct or indirect, that is mainstreaming it. That man himself is probably insane; if so it will be made manifest more and more with his increasing exposure.
If these freaks ever get real power, and control an apparatus such as Homeland Security or the US Military, the result will be violent, extreme chaos and could set our nation back hundreds of years if not destroy us completly. It would be a miracle to survive it and recover; though I suppose if Germany did we certainly can; but the intervening period will be devastation for generations.
I am not aware of any hyperbole in my comments.
FWIW.
