VA is terribly wide (as states go), and the ONLY way you can bypass it is to drive all the way to Kentucky and Tennessee, and cross the Appalachians two times.

Virginia could very well live on the revenue to be taken from lawbreaking travelers should the need ever arise.

I'll pass the idea along to my old buddy (and State Senator) Dave Albo for consideration.

It seems that using the public right of way is a privilege, not a right.

And some members of the VA legislature belive that private property is a privilege and not a right.......and interestingly enough Mr. Albo's name comes up more than once in an LIS search.
