"Still not as bad as NC, where +15 mph over the limit (or anything over 80 mph) lands you in a mandatory court appearance. Traffic lawyer's paradise."

Oh, Virginia is just as bad. My 17 year old daughter got one for 20 mph over the limit in Virginia. Mandatory court appearance. She hired a lawyer in Virginia to handle the case, since she lives in Ohio. Between lawyer fees, fines, and the mandatory safe driving class, this ended up costing her about $500 and lots of hours. (The lawyer fee was not as bad as it could have been since her aunt knew the lawyer).
That's just bs.

if you have a CDL, it doesn't matter...15 mph over the limit and your license can be revoked.

All the cops now are little ninja pointed head drug warriors...they are cry babies and are afraid of their own shadow...they will steal whatever they can from your vehicle and sit around waffle house and brag to each other about what "bad sumbitches" they are.

I hate them all..a young lady that i know had went to the drive thru and caxhed her paycheck..little over $500.00..she was stopped early that evening...when asked if they could search her vehicle, she told them "NO" there was no reason to search her vehicle...they ignored this and went all over her car...they found no drugs but the $500.00 + was gone and the sheriff dept denied any liability due to the impeccable integrity of their officers.

Ouachita parish (monroe & west monroe, La) is the worse place in the whole state of Louisiana, Sheriff Richard Fewell, was himself at one time a little sissy that got his ass kicked daily at school and looks like a beady eyed little mole..

i have great respect for "law Enforcement" but these guys they hire nowadays are really lil nazis with bad haircuts.
