Any word yet on the beheading the following day (in the same state), or is the "suicide" story still holding up?

If you're referring to Hazlet, this actually was a suicide. I don't live too far from there, and my brother in law (a Gulf 1Vet) is the editor/publisher of a local newspaper in the area. If there was anything being covered up he would know. It was a very bizarre suicide.

well, that's just scriptural...sorry I can't give it off the top of my head, but I think
it was Peter that said in one of his epistles that followers of Christ shouldn't
be shocked when they are persecuted.

For me the interesting comparison is this:
Radical Islamics: willing to blow up self and innocent men, women and children to
preserve propery rights to women...

Christians: willing to die for speaking out for the rights and dignity of
men, women and children.
Even the ones most folks would consider worthy of destitution and death.
AND even ill-defined tissue masses (fetuses; humans in the making)
