I don't know why liberals have such a problem with this. Christianity is part of the foundation of this country, whether they like it or not.

These words hurt no one but instead hold President Bush to a commitment, and in the President’s eyes, a solemn commitment made under the watch of the One that will ultimately judge him. To President Bush this is more pressing than any opinion poll or approval rating.

They don't understand. They believe G.W. is dangerous because he bears accountability to no one. Not true. The American people hold the right to hold him accountable. They chose to re-elect him. The Left chooses to discount the wisdom of the American people. In fairness, some of the Right do the same when their way is not given sway.

Foremost G.W. is aware his accountability to our Creator will bear no excuse. It is by His sacrifice and mercy we are saved, not through works. Imagine facing the Creator of Life, Your Own Life, one that is the embodiment of Perfection. It is humbling when you understand you cannot measure. This President lives every day with the knowledge he will face his Savior and bear account of his life to Jesus Christ. That is the ultimate form of accountability, and one he takes seriously.

Common sense suggests that if one doesn’t share the same faith as another one should be strong enough in their own faith to be unshaken. If one is an Atheist and truly believes that there is no god then how can someone who prays to a god, any god, be a threat? To be shaken, threatened, because someone does not believe in the same way as you is a sign of weakness and demonstrates a lack of conviction.

Exactly.

I don't move to hysterics because someone prays to Allah. It doesn't impact me at all. Yet the mention of Our Father, and especially of his Son Jesus Christ, send many into hysterics. I'm secure in my Faith. Are they secure in theirs? Behavior tells the tale.
