No, I don't do talk show call-ins.
IMHO, the hosts are ALL a bunch of butt-in-skis who will interrupt whenever they disagree with the point that you're trying to make.
I much prefer ranting on a popular internet forum.
Trolls and disruptors may flame you on a forum, and attempt to spin and misinterpret your position. But they can't actually edit your posts, or cut you off short. So despite their attacks, what you actually have to say is still there for others to read.
...This is why you can never argue with a lefty. They hear what they want and live in their own universe....
Ain't that the truth. They'll fall hook line and sinker for B.S. spewing from Michael Moore or whoever, but a sane person can't get a fact in edgewise.
That's okay. A few of these types I spoke to were to damn lazy to go to the polls. "Man, I wanted to vote for Kerry". I laughed at them when I heard that.
I read the entire thread. Note that no one denied the allegations. Complete silence on the facts. Just rants about NPR being right wing. What a gas.

Humble??
You're right about the host cutting off the caller...especially Colmes. When a right thinking person tries to make a point, he talks over them and cuts them off or takes what they said out of context and twists it to mean something else and then beats the strawman to death. When I get in my car after work at night the radio is still tuned to the talk radio station that carries Rush, Hannity and Savage. I usually turn Colmes off, but this sounded interesting so I listened until the segment was over.
That kind of "conversation" churns my stomach.
Even when I'm among friends or family, I can't stand it when everybody's yakking at the same time and nobody's listening.
I naturally prefer to politely listen while somebody finishes what they have to say.
And then I expect to be extended the same courtesy when it is my turn to speak.
It'd make a great thread title on DU, wouldn't it? :-)

I wondered why the protesters got such a prominant place during the parade, and after watching C-Span yesterday i got my answer. It was to show the world what hate-filled crazies they are and how opposite they are from normal, average, everday Americans. One more shining example of why more and more people are aligning themselves with the Republican party. Brilliant move.
