One thing you can always take away from DU threads, most of the loudest squawkers are young and probably don't have jobs that earn them much more than minimum. Hate and F__K are used in about every other post on the DU. What silly children - young and old. I have several DEM friends! We usually don't talk politics but if we do it's civil and they tend to be less informed on the issues and don't follow the news very closely. Still I don't browbeat them - I give them my perspective and they give me theirs. Most of them are still Dem's because they believe that BS about the Dem's being for the little guy. PJ - I looked at this DU thread via your link and I must say without our humble correspondent's witty comments the lefty posts are depressing and leave one feeling as if they are locked in a unmaintained restroom.

The LAST thing I wanted was another baby, due before the first one was walking or sleeping through the night, but right now, my OWN PRIVATE FETUS is two years old, jumping off the back of the couch and generally driving her big brother nuts, and I wouldn't have it any other way. What kind of sicko would rather have them killed?
