"My son is dead so I made time to notify all you people in the midst of talking to the Sheriff, making funeral arrangements and contacting relatives."

Huh? Of course it's sad when anyone passes, however anyone who has ever spent time in a chat room has seen this scenario play out time and time again. 25K + posts? Ok, so where and when is the funeral and where do "we" send flowers/DONATIONS?

How OLD are these people? After 25k+ posts, this guy should have DU'ers at his door.

I have stated the same thing. It just doesn't seem like the thing a grieving mother would do. Not unless they are stranger than fiction. Of course, I think in DUmmieland, their politics come before anything else. Sad that a horrible place like DU was his whole life.

I have seen this a lot back when I went to chatrooms, now that you mention it. All those times, (including once when a room member's friend came in and told the group of a terrible accident. and was very graphic about it) turned out to be untrue. Cries for attention.

Now I am not saying this is the case, BUT, the extent of the posting by his mother is a bit odd. Who's mother spend that much time posting about it. We had asked in the chatroom, where to send flowers, where was he/she so someone in that area could go to the funeral/hospital, always got the runaround.

Only once I remember someone actually did die, but no one came in to tell us, we got word through others in the room.
