What's the deal with PORTABLE satellite radio? Are they small enough to use like a Walkman? One problem I have is that I put a lot of wear and tear on my portable radios. They last an average of about a month for me. I would hate to shell out big bucks for a satellite radio only to have it go bad on me after a few weeks of heavy duty use. Remember, I would be using it 5 to 6 hours per day while walking.

BTW, my obsession with talk radio pissed off my girlfriend. She gave me a big lecture about how I was paying more attention to the radio than to her. I'm not sure of all the details of her complaint because I had my radio earphones on and was just nodding my head sympathetically in agreement while simultaneously listening to the radio.
