"I'm going to keep sneezing on you until you let me buy this!"
Don't change the rules.
that is insane.
I just bought a bottle of wine with my toddler and infant in tow.......shhhh don't tell anyone.
In the meantime, your kids can probably buy all sorts of illicit drugs at their schoolyard without a prescription!
I believe there is also an age limit on buying cold medicine (like 16 or 18) as well.<<
I can see that one. Ny-Quill - love that stuff so much that I look forward to getting colds, LOL!
We have a bad meth problem around here, so it really hasn't slowed the cookers down for a second.
I read this webpage for cold medicine druggies and how to do it - mostly teens - and they would drink bottles of the stuff - all of them had bad trips!
Heh...I didn't say I didn't buy booze. But that time I just had a six pack of...grrr...it was one of those deals with cola and a little rum that you can get next to the beer in any grocery. I'd never tried it, and it was on sale. I've since learned that I was better off not wasting my money, so maybe I should be grateful for the Nazis...
But it wasn't even enough for two people to get tipsy on, really!
The law is intended to make it inconvienent to go into one store and purchase large quantities of psedoephendrine... its not because its the cold medicine... that drug is used in the process of manufacturing METH (ILLEGAL drug)
Buckley's Mixture....................made in Canada. W.K Buckley Limited.
I don't know if your area carries it, but this stuff really works. My son, his wife and daughter came up from Missouri for a visit..........ALL sick. Went on a Buckley's run and plied them with it. My son was shocked.........his sinus's cleared in minutes.
Heh...I've often wondered since then what the cut-off would be. If he had been just fifteen, would I have gotten away with it? What if I were over thirty? Forty?
Maybe you could find a meth dealer and ask if you can just buy the unprocessed cold medicine?
I don't know if they still make it but when I was growing up you could by it at pharmacies. My mom used to give it to us in a little plastic cup over crushed iced to sip on when we were nauseous.
Haaaaaahahahaha...!
(LOL is an understatment)
NyQuil.........lol.......the place I worked was open all night. One night one of our guys saw a guy stealing something, shoving it down his pants. We called the police as he left and they caught him a block away with 18 bottles in his trousers. Seems the kids mix it with something, I forget what now, to come down off a coke high.
Apparently you buying more than two boxes of cold medicine at a time substantially effects commerce among the several states.
well stated
That's the stuff. Perhaps it's because most pharmacies had soda fountains back then that I relate the two. Served over ice, it was a great thing for a young kid to help with a stomach virus. My Mom probably would be thrown if jail for the way she treated me back then!!!
That is crazy. Who do they think they are, forcing their morals on ... well ... on themselves.
That's BS. We should be allowed to force these counties to serve liquor. To force our amorality on them!
