Before I go into my usual self-promotional rant about the DUFU book, I have a personal request. Does anybody out there know who is the syndicator of Laura Ingraham's radio shows? If so, please tell him to burn up the phone lines and in an effort to get her radio show back on the air here in South Florida. Yeah, I know her show is on at night in the West Palm Beach area but the signal is so lousy that I can't pick it up here in Broward County. I used to listen to Laura from a Broward radio station until it went all sports last May. Anyway, it is an OUTRAGE that an incredibly FUNNY and INFORMATIVE show like Laura Ingraham's can only be heard by a small percentage of the people in this major metropolitan area. So to the syndicator of the Laura Ingraham show---GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND MAKE SURE SHE IS ON THE AIR WHERE WE CAN HEAR HER IN SOUTH FLORIDA!!!
Whew! Well, I got that off my chest so where was I? Oh yeah, my blatantly self-promotional plea for a literary agent or book publisher for the DUFU book. You folks know the routine by now. It WILL be a very successful book and if you want to hop on the gravy train, yada-yada-yada, then contact me at PJ-Comix.
No DUFU AM edition tomorrow, but FEAR NOT, there will be a PM edition. And if you want to get the latest updates of the DUmmie FUnnies, just let me know if you want on the PING List.

I think there could be a moral "alliance" of guys like Dalai Lama, Richard Gere and other figures which would have a great impact on the thinking of Europeans. How exactly would sticking gerbils where the sun don't shine help the DUmmies?

I don't read DU-type stuff, anywhere, but doesn't the Dali have more pressing local concerns this holiday season?

I had to click through to see it for myself. It's too absurd to just take on faith.
Maybe they could have Clark Kent contact Superman for even more 'star power' help.

I check DUmmieland several times a day, for laughs, but this one about the Dalai Lama (they can't even get his title and name right) got by me without being seen.
Great work, as usual.

While the Dahli Lama might find some compelling things in the DU's call, he does not support political leaders that advocate abortion. Just a small thing about how China is trying to eliminate his followers by seeing to it that they don't multiply.

They're getting DUmmer by the minute! Not that this is a surprised, but then, you have to wonder how low will they go? It will be entertaining no matter what!

Now isn't it just like these DUmmies? Trying to inject faith into politics? There oughta' be a law.

Holy Christ! They have finally hit upon the key to victory! If the Dahli Lama comes on board, the groundswell of support will be unstoppable.

Ooops. Huh? They think the Dalai Lama has e-mail? Do they understand anything all about the lifestyle of these monks (austerity, spartan-ness, aceticism, sacrifice)? It's like the DUmmies think the Pope has a wife, or something. Geezuz, every time I turn around, they get DUmber and DUmber and DUmber, and the bottom's never reached.

There was a time I couldn't stand to read DU. They are just so full of hate, not to mention BS.
But since the night of the 2002 elections, and "All Your Senate Are Belong To US" and their reaction to the elections (shutting down except for paying members) I go over there at least twice a day. It has got to be one of the most entertaining sites on the web.
It's insanity like thinking the Dalai Lama will help them overturn a US presidential election that gives me hope that the D party is doomed if it doesn't purge itself of it's base. And I don't think it can.
Please put me on your ping list.

Possible...but he IS a political figure given his exile. I have a fantasy of him addressing the UN about US election fraud.hehehehe...you just can't make stuff like this up.

Funny you should post this. I just saw an autobiography on the Dialup Lama a couple of hours ago on the History Channel International. It claimed all kinds of miracles on his behalf in his early years. But I'm sure the DUmbasses would never fall for such silly superstition....
To: PJ-Comix
On first read-through of the title I thought the DUmmies were wanting to ask the Dalai Lama for help for the tsunami victims.
Silly me! I should have known it was all about THEM!

By the way, you should e-mail the DUFUs to Laura. One of the DUmmies might make the lie of the day.
