Right now I am going the Field of Dreams route. Build an INCREDIBLY POPULAR humor blog and they will come to me (I hope).
--and you may have trouble getting an agent with material that's mostly other people's comments on a website.
All DUmmie comments are followed by my comments on their comments. Also those comments are on a PUBLIC forum so legally there is no problem of placing them in a book (plus CD-ROM).
I'm not talking about copyright issues. I mean, a book that's mostly commenting on postings on a website is kinda, well, good luck anyway!
