Understood, but your work relies so heavily on a website readers could go to themselves and just read. One advantage of finding an agent is he or she could help sharpen the book idea, make it more unique. I mean, making fun of web postings isn't going to attract an agent.

They can go there but who has the time to wade through all that junk? 90% of the threads there are not all that interesting. I find the gems and them add my commentary touch. BLOGS are the BIG thing now and yet little or nothing in print about them. BTW, when William Shirer wrote "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" the publisher only published a few thousand copies because it was thought to have limited appeal. Just prior to publication of the book, Look magazine published a big excerpt of Shirer's book featuring the Nazi leaders on the cover of Look. When that issue of Look was published, the editors went into full panic mode because Sophia Loren was on the cover of rival Life magazine that week. The Look editors thought NO ONE would want to buy a copy of their magazine featuring the German leaders on their cover when they could get Life with Sophia Loren on the cover. Result: That issue of Look turned out to be their BEST SELLING issue ever.

So the moral of the story is that you can't always go by the past to judge how well a book does. Remember, the public at large have never read much about Blogs. In fact, a lot of folks don't even know what a Blog is. Therefore we are entering a whole new territory here.

Just keep collecting the DUmmie Funnies, P.J., and something will come of it. Probably not the way as "planned," but more likely this "something" will be even better than the "plan."

Just keep plugging away, collecting these jewels of lunacy as you have been, and I am confident that your book will hit the shelves late summer-early autumn.....2006, just in time for the mid-term elections.

Keep doing your fine work, and let things happen.

Things always happen, more by accident than by design.

By the way, I am STILL not convinced this "William Pitt" character is not a "plant" by someone (a FReeper or some other conservative digusted with lunacy); also I am beginning to wonder if perhaps the infamous "Bev Harris" was not the creation of a creative conservative mind--which is all good, because of the DUmmies sending her loads and loads of money. That would be a roar, DUmmies sending money to support Republican candidates in the mid-term elections.
