Which reminds me. The DUmmies might try that trick on Freepers they don't like. So we should be wary if they try to smear a Freeper by posting something bad over there by someone claiming to be a Freeper.
None of us (FReepers) could possibly cuss as well as the DUmmies.
I'm not talking about copyright issues. I mean, a book that's mostly commenting on postings on a website is kinda, well, good luck anyway!

Actually, if you go there - the hardly ever read the other posts. They just respond. They don't care what you think, they just want to spout their hatred.

Du sure is a constant flow of, uh, "material".... The few times I visited, it was no fun at all. They're not just depressed about one election or one issue, they're very misrable about life, period.
Don't forget to include a line graph to show the rises and falls of their little hopes! HAHAHA

One thing to remember---I don't plan to be constricted by the normal rules of books. I'll give you an example. Most newspaper travel stories really suck. However, I read a book compilation of Ernie Pyle's travel stories (before he became the best known WWII War Correspondent) and I was STUNNED by the level of his writing. It was MUCH DIFFERENT than the normal newspaper travel stories. I DON'T plan a normal Yuckety-Yuck humor book. Oh, and one BIG fringe benefit of the DUFU books (I envision a series of them) is that I can guarantee that Hillary WON'T be returning to the White House 9in '08.
Understood, but your work relies so heavily on a website readers could go to themselves and just read. One advantage of finding an agent is he or she could help sharpen the book idea, make it more unique. I mean, making fun of web postings isn't going to attract an agent. I'm not trying to put you down, just laying out a few of the obstacles as I see them.
