“Daniel Hoffheimer, State Legal Counsel for the Kerry-Edwards campaign, told MSNBC today that Kerry-Edwards will support the third-party candidates in asking the Federal Court in the Ohio recount lawsuit to order the preservation of the evidence obtained during the recount and to expedite discovery of the facts. Hoffheimer said that various problems and errors have occurred in a number of Ohio's 88 county boards of elections during the recount, which will conclude next week. Hoffheimer acknowledged that the most publicized of these problems was the machine manipulation in Hocking County but said that the developing evidence will reveal other problems as well. He said that Senators Kerry and Edwards are very concerned that the law for conducting the recount should be uniformly followed. They want to be sure that all circumstances involved in the Ohio election, including the recount, should be put before the Court and disclosed to the American people. Only then, Hoffheimer said, can the integrity of the entire electoral process and the election of Bush-Cheney warrant the public trust."

Sometimes these posts of theirs are exceedingly funny, but other times, like today, it sounds more like a mental ward, and is sad almost. Are these people totally off the deep end? I can honestly say I'm extremely happy not to either be married to, related to, or friends with anyone who invests this much of themselves into a cause. How many here would admit to being registered and posting on DU? Granted, these folks are disturbed as you can see from their terrible language and threads in the "lounge" re depression that go back long before the election. It's just hard to believe all or most of this stuff comes from the DUmmies. There were all their threads about Thanksgiving tiffs with "Freeper" relatives. How could so many DUmmies actually have relatives who even know about FR, let alone gloated to disturbed DUmmies? This has gone so far off the wall that it has to be some infiltrators jerking them around.

Anyrate, this is the sadness brought on by the liberal pantywetter parenting that goes on in this country. Things don't go your way? Pitch a freaking fit untill they do!

Although I will say that there are some posters here at FR that I would hate to be copied somewhere. You can guys can be quite brutal at times and fit in with the stereotypical War Hawk motif. Well, I have read some very disturbing posts from DU.
In all fairness, they sound like me, when clintoon was in office.
But that was justified, because everyone knows what a low-life POS, scum-sucking butt-hole he is.
The 92 election was truly rigged, and IMHO, conservatives got reamed big time.
The insane rantings I have seen on DU pale in comparison to the rantings I was posting on some of the BB's back then.
I wasn't depressed or maniacal about losing. I was totally PO'd that this country couldn't see the true nature of clintoon and his cronies from Arkansas.
I set out to prepare for the worst.
I wasn't advocating the overthrow of the elected administration.
I had the FAX number of every representative from VA on speed dial, and used it vociferously.

There is always hope as long as there exists a beautiful group of people, like those here at DU, to go to when our hearts are heavy. I get great strength when I think about all those who have gone before us in great battles! I feel that there will be great changes coming, and that good will prevail. And, the person that John Kerry is also gives me great comfort.

This is just getting to the point of total meltdown isn't it? I find it hard to believe there are so many idiot DUers out there. What in the world is wrong with these idiots. Has anyone seen any evidence what so ever of voter fraud? Machine fraud? Hacking? Anything? What are these morons basing their opinions on? I have seen several stories with facts that actually seem to insinuate the exact opposite. And exactly what battles are they talking about here? Any battle that would require these wussies to have a backbone, courage and determination they are sadly AWOL. Any one on one direct confrontation and these guys wilt like yesterdays lettuce. The only way they stand is when the odds are ten to one in their favor or when they can pick on little girls or women that can't fight back. How many times did we see this in the events leading up to their inevitable loss in this election. I don't recall reading anything about Pubbies stealing or damaging property or assaulting campaign workers.

They constantly brag they are our intellectual superiors yet all I ever see is their innuendos. To be an intellectual do you not have to rely on logic? How can they keep spouting this puke? It is no wonder they are a declining party and their own base is heading for the life rafts at a rate only found in the Kentucky Derby.

As long as they continue to base their opinions and rhetoric on misleading and downright false accusations they have no chance whatsoever to regroup into any sort of political force. Which BTW reassures us of countless wins in the Repub column for years to come. Has anyone seen a comment from one of them on the county election maps? They are living in an alternate universe.

I know how frustrating it can be to come up with just the right phrasing to express your disgust, contempt, outrage, etc. at the whiny mewling pukes who inhabit DU.
A true rant comes from the soul, not the mind, but the mind controls the fingers, and sometimes, well, it's just not enough to simply call someone an a$$hole when there are much better descriptors available.
