Actually, all Pitt did was claim Kerry's people were filing papers, along with the Glibs. They haven't filed yet, and these are motions, nothing more.
A couple of days ago, Moonbat Pitt's excuse was that the weather prevented anything from being done and now Moonbat Pitt's excuse is that Kerry isn't REALLY filing a suit at all. In fact when you look Kerry isn't doing anything except adding his name to some Green Party Kool Aid action which will have as much effect on the election outcome as a fart in the middle of a hurricane will change its direction. And didn't we already go over this track a couple of weeks ago when Kerry allowed his signature to be placed on some request to look at the innards of some voting machines? The DUmmies broke out the victory champagne over that one only to have the champagne quickly go flat when they woke up to the fact that the Kerry sig was on a meaningless action. And now they are repeating themselves thanx to Moonbat Pitt whose stories keep changing almost daily.
He misled them.
He is lying about his access, and deliberately made his original poswt vague in order to cover all bases and "clarify" is he got nailed.
Kerry/Edwards campaign - are they even a legal entity any more? Them supporting a recount that is over doesn't give the recount more legal standing than it already has, which is teeny.
They need to go balls to the walls in order to have "standing", but they refused and now the issue is no longer ripe.
In other words, they are being lied to.
I don't know why the party would risk doing this to their most ardent financial and grass-roots supportors. It's evil.
