The long knives have been unsheathed, and Donald Rumsfelds back targeted. One of the most capable, energetic, intelligent, determined and articulate public servants in the history of the American Republic is under fire for not being omniscient and infallible, and for using an Auto-Pen to sign letters of condolence to the families of those killed in action.
A classic orchestrated PR offensive is underway, bearing all the signs of the customary collaboration among the Usual Suspects in the capitals media-political universe.
Things were getting scary for the opponents of George W. Bush. Not only did he win a smashing electoral victory, and immediately launch an invigorated second term agenda, but the Democrats, unable to control their despair, were in the process of disgracing themselves to the general public through their self-involved wailing and whining. The Democrats became a parody of themselves: wimps who dont even understand how ridiculous they look to everyone else, seeking designation as victims of a made-up psychological syndrome. Not exactly the kind of people the American public want defending us in an age of terror.

Rumsfeld Failed to Lick Stamps on GI Death Letters
by Scott Ott
(2004-12-20) -- Forensic DNA testing has revealed that Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld did not personally lick postage stamps on letters to families of troops killed in Iraq.
"We're still looking for a positive DNA match on the stamp saliva," said an aide to Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-NE. "We've asked to swab the cheeks of dozens of Pentagon office staffers."
It is really just more of the pathetic left, airing their "sour grapes"...they always have to pick on someone..and throw in the lilly-livered so-called Republicans that are just trying to cover their miserable, pansy butts with their voting base by picking on Rummy just because Iraq is not a cake-walk and the hand wringers are putting pressure on them....
Just more of the nauseating same ole horse excrement...
