Due to the overwhelming response to an earlier thread, a resource is available as a "online email meeting" (email list)
Feel free to check in or join up if you wish.
One Day At a Time.... Click here
I am not sure I understand what this is all about. I know ODAT and 12 steps etc. But what exactly is needed?
GOD BLESS YOU for posting this link!
God,
grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
-Amen...
I feel like I was meant to click on 'recent posts' and see this one at the very top. I am a grateful member myself. IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT.
I am going to check it out now!
Billy
Well if that's not just a "coincidence" :) I used to hang around Bill W's room on Yahoo...hadn't been there in about 6 years- stopped over there tonight...then come here and see this!
Thanks!
Ok i just signed up. But I do have questions. Is this the standard 12 step group? I always wished there was a 12 step recovery group where the people in the group also had another connecting bond. Such as the same political affiliation.
I mean, not that going to meetings with a bunch of liberals would hinder my own recovery, but it would be nice if there was a 12 step group for 'conservative leaning' folk.
Perhaps this is one, online - better than none at all!
Again, ty! (And where is this other thread?)
Billy
Could be the armature night thing...although that was never a big night for me anyway.
LOL...ya mean the armature?
I kinda like it that way! :)
...am now off to read the other thread- don't know how I missed that one..
Yes, Conservative leaning, most likely not poly-effected, multi-spotted or cross-befuddled, but real al-key-haul-icks enjoying the fruits of [conservative] recovery (but all are welcome - as with any meeting)
