To be honest, as bad as things are, I think you need a pro. I mean seriously, I think it's time to seek the help of a person who is trained to help. We're certainly not. If you can't sleep you need help.
Sanest thing on DU in weeks...maybe months...maybe ever. Of course, everyone who posts at DU needs a pro.
The other counselor is buying more guns because "Bush is a f*cking lunatic" and it's "getting really scary out there." He and I think alike, but I can't get a gun because I'm considered a suicide risk.
If your therapist is one of these DUmmie types planning a revolution, he's a suicide risk too. We have more guns, more people who actually know how to shoot, and A-10s with cluster bombs.

UGH, as someone who wants to go into clinical psychology this is DISGUSTING. Save therapy for someone who actually needs it, you spoiled, whiney brats! By the way, medication isn't the answer to your psychological problems... I bet your therapists just gave it to you so you'd SHUT THE HELL UP. I don't really blame them, either! GET OVER IT ALREADY! Christ, if Kerry had won I would have been upset but nowhere near THIS bad.

You are right, of course, but by definition, an addiction needs feeding and I was starving for a good laugh at the DUmmie/GUmmies! But, I just looked through my postings, and I noticed that the boy is back at work making us giddy with laughter!
Thanks to everybody for your prayers and sympathy. We buried my wife today, back in the country in Kentucky where she's from. It was a beautiful, simple country funeral in a beautiful setting.
It's still hard to accept, but I guess God needed a nurse. And he got the best. Kinda tells me that I made a good choice 8 years ago.
