Bingo! When I first heard about this principal banning the Declaration from study in the classroom because of references to God, it reminded me of dictatorial regimes censoring foreign newspapers of any article they considered "subversive" before making it publicly available.

I can't remember who used this phrase but I think that if what this principal did was not treason then it is treason's first cousin.
