I can start a list and we'd be adding to it for months.

We do not live in a Constitutional Republic, just a dying Republican form of Democracy.

The remainder of the Constitution will be suspended if Muslims or Muhammadans or Islamicists in America step one inch out of line.

So, which do you prefer? Dealing with the problem now, befor it becomes one, or later, after innocent blood in America is spilled?

Don't get me wrong here. There is a problem;we have to deal with it, and now is a much better time than later.

I am for controlling immigration, especially from middle eastern countries, especially in light of the current war on terror.

I believe we needed mass immigration in the early part of our history; it was a big land, and required lots of people to develop it.

My paternal relatives arrived here in the 1600's and my maternal grandparents in the early 1900's, so I am here as a result of looser immigration policies, and extremely grateful.

Times have changed. This country can no longer accept great influxes of people who don't like where they live. They need to stay in their own country and work or fight to make it more like their own Utopian dream.

I believe all illegal aliens should be deported. Now. No exceptions. It may sound callous, but necessary. I believe all Resident non-citizens who commit felonies need deporting after serving punishment. Now. No exceptions. All naturalized citizens get the same constitutional protections as those of us born here. No exceptions. I believe in the death penalty, and if the crime warrants it, apply it. The Constitution should never be suspended for any reason (I have a little problem with some of the wording of the Patriot Act and am watching the application very closely), but the Constitution is, as written, the finest document of it's kind.

Read the preamble. We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

It does not imply perfection, it simply says in Order to form a more perfect Union and Article V allows for amendments because they were smart enough to realize things change.

I doubt the Constitution will ever be amended to exclude a specific religion (I certainly hope not), but if it does I'll support it, because it is the document that provides us, the people, our protections..

IMO, the Constitution is the will of the people and must be supported. I do not agree with many of the interpretations of the Constitution by liberal courts, but I am bound by oath to support it.

How would I know that? If true, it is not proclaimed from the mosques in my city. They don't write letters to the editors of our local paper. That was the point of the author; silence is viewed as tacet concurrence.

It's not really a matter of deporting them just engaging them and making them understand that our law supercedes the Koran.

I.e. if a Moslem abuses his daughter or won't allow her an education, that Moslem runs the risk of losing custody.

And that his daughters and sons will be taught they have the right to reject Islam without be subject to violence.

It's not crap M&M, it's a legitimate response to a barbaric threat. I didn't buy it the first time I heard it proposed either...but as you consider it as an option, it begins to make more sense in light of the threat we are facing. I don't think you truly understand the repercussions of Jihad and the threat it poses to our nation. Deportation isn't the answer, certainly...but under certain conditions it may well be part of it.

There is nothing bigger than depriving American citizens of their citizenship. Where would you deport American citizens, who were born here and have lived here all their lives, to?
