This is decidedly controversial. The author makes the case for deporting Muslims because of their threat to our security based on the intolerance of the Koran towards Infidels and the failure of the American Muslim community to publicly condemn Jihad against western civilization. Putting aside racial hotbuttons, there is a case to be made for deportation and letting them sort it all out in their own backyard, not ours.

Would not bother me in the slightest. In fact, I would feel alot better about our security.

Our founding Fathers saw America as a Christian nation. Anyone who is here who is not a Christian is a guest. Guests who do not honor your home and heritage need to leave.

Agree. But this issue is too hot to be raised seriously...for now. Let's see what happens after the next attack.

"...Guests who do not honor your home and heritage need to leave..."

or forced to leave if they won't do so voluntarily. Then they can do what they please.

Tell you what - it certainly makes one understand the internment of the Japanese during WW II, doesn't it?

I still don't consider it as having been the right thing to have done, but it still makes me wonder if maybe it wasn't the right thing.

Oh, I don't know - it's just something to ponder on, that's for sure.

"...it's just something to ponder on, that's for sure...."

Exactly. It's a potential policy option down the road that might just steamroll if we get seriously hit again.

Many Muslims in the United States are native-born citizens. You can't deport native-born citizens. You can arrest and imprison criminals, however.

Of course it was, and the Magic intercepts document that fully.

Deporting the non-natives might be a place to begin. But you're right, we'll still have to deal with those who can't simply be deported.

Know what strikes me? My grandfather was Quebecois - during the 1900's he moved to the USA; my father was born in 1928. He never spoke his native language and would not teach it to his kids.

Why?

Because he said he was in America now. This was his home, and this language was what he'd learn & teach his children.

I find it particularly odd that many cultures of today don't adopt this same ideology - after all, isn't the USA the "melting pot" where many cultures became one? Now, we're "mutli-cultural" - I'm forgetting where we left off & where we've begun.

Am I not American anymore because I'm White, anglosaxon protestant, and speak English?

Sometimes I don't feel like I fit in...

"Anyone who is here who is not a Christian is a guest."

I will beg to differ with you. I am an atheist. I'm a citizen. I'm also a veteran. If you propose to expel me from my native country, you'll be in for a fight.

That's a pretty narrow view don't you think?
