Kevin Sites is a freelance traitor who runs around hoping to catch our servicemen and women killing poor foreign terrorists in Iraq to help propell his career.

Pardon my hostility, but if I was one of our boys, I would have probably wasted him and his camera monkey (if he has one) right there: Where's Kevin? I thought he was with you.

Read "street by street"
it's a good article and is not negative to the troops

This is the guy who reported the marine killing the insurgent in the Mosque. I feel he understood what was happening and what would be perceived by the world via television, and then he made his choice.

What does Mr. Sites think our soldiers are doing? Trick-or-treating in Baghdad? This is a war dammit! Split second, life or death decisions need to be made. Mr. Sites is probably depressed about the election results.

Out of curiosity, what are Mr Sites exact quotes regarding this?

I heard from a co-worker that he was on NBC (don't remember what show - may have been PMSNBC) and that he didn't indicate that HE thought the Marine did anything wrong. Since I didn't see it, I don't know for sure, but this co-worker is as staunch a conservative as I am and I doubt he would cut the guy any slack. He despises the MSM and only watches that channel in his kitchen in the mornings because he can't get FoxNews.

Anyway, he said that Sites basically said the guy (Marine) was justified in his actions.

Again, I DID NOT SEE IT FOR MYSELF, so don't start flaming me. If someone else saw something to the contrary from Mr. Sites, then please correct me.

Kevin Sites needs to find a new way to make a living or have plastic surgery and change his name. I sure wouldn't want to be embedded in combat with our Marines and soldiers if I'd done what he did. BTW...the email I sent him earlier today...

SUBJECT: Ernie Pyle and You

Have you written/videotaped any stories about terrorists pretending to surrender and then shooting at Marines? ...or about wounded terrorists trying to kill Marines? ...or about Marines killed or wounded by booby trapped wounded or dead terrorists? Or are you just trying to make a name for youself? You are a perfect example of why more and more people just keep tuning out to the networks and tuning in to other sources of news. You give no context or perspective at all. You are a disgrace to the legacy of Ernie Pyle.

The articles on his site seems balanced and respectful of the troops. Perhaps freepers are projecting too much onto the figure of Kevin Sites? Perhaps he had no intention of creating a stir, and/or no idea that it would happen?

Kevin Sites is a traitor-journalist currently serving the terrorists, France, and NBC News in Iraq.
Doubt even one American will shed a tear if he and the NBC anchors are beheaded by their terrorist masters.

I did hear, however I don't know specifically, that he was backpedalling on Imus this morning. FWIW

This morning during Imus, Sites read a prepared statement saying, "Throughout this offensive I have seen the military act as a discipline and professional force... it was a confusing situation... Only the soldier knows his intent.."
Sites looked very nervous IMHO...

I saw his report, it was not a complete bashing. On the other hand, he could have shown clips of the sorts of atrocities the insurgents are pulling. He referred to some but as we all know, the visual is very powerful and he did show the injured insurgents (though not the actual shooting).

He ought to. He knew the ramifications. One thing that keeps his a** in high gear, besides projectiles, is breaking the big one.

I imagine the temperature drops to about -30 when this prick walks near Marines right now. It's not a good idea to p*ss off your protectors in a war zone.

Kevin Sites knew what he had.

Kevin Sites knew what the fallout would be if released.

Kevin Sites released the video.

Kevin Sites made a conscious decision to put his personal interests (the Pulitzer) above his country and the Marines with whom he was embedded.

Then I expect Kevin Sites will reap the consequences of his actions.
