I have been of the mind that it would be Conservatives (the silent but angry majority) that might eventually set off a civil war as they got fed up with a small radical minority ruining society by imposing its will on the decent folks. It is starting to look like the Leftists are becoming so rabid and insane that they cannot effect a true radical-minority-rules-all system, that they may commit suicide by starting a war themselves.

These are the generation who knows death only from video games. They have no idea it's permanent and has consequences. In their world nobody ever dies for good (or how could they be militantly pro 'choice'?) so fantasizing about killing Republicans is a video game to them.

Not to say there aren't people out there who think they are being led by the Voices to kill people in order to save the country; and I can't wait for the trial lawyers to blame the Republican party for the voices in their heads.

I've heard a lot of mumblings from liberals advocating assasination. When I bring up the practical obstacles (Secret Service scout tactics, no hope of escape without superior logistics, etc.) the libs' collective jaws drop like they believe I've been considering it myself. Bottom line - they're too emotional and sheeplish to ever bring off the operation. Only a loner on his own tangent, like that Chapman guy, has any chance of getting over. Apparently hopeless puppy-love for a lesbian actress by a nutless wonder is required for any hope of success.

There's an easy, logical explanation why Democrats are so "disturbed." They went through all the prisons and homes for the mentally ill, seeking somebody (anybody) who would vote for Kerry - Edwards.

Many Democrats feel a kinship with these individuals because, while they have never been in such a prison or hospital, they should have been -- a long time ago.

And that is why they have this unrealistic fear of Republicans; they judge people in that other party by their Democrat friends. Since they are so willing to shoot a Republican, they think "the other side" is capable of such troubling solutions.

They need to join their friends in the mental hospital where, hopefully, they will be able to learn how to return to reality -- and accept the fact that Bush - Cheney won.

They are already talking about forming their own party, many are very unhappy with the dims cause now the dims are ignoring their depression over the election. I was reading on the DU site yesterday and they are not happy with the dims and much talk of a new party.
