17. Finally and most importantly, over 55 million Americans voted for the candidate dubbed "The #1 Liberal in the Senate." That's more than the total number of voters who voted for either Reagan, Bush I, Clinton or Gore. Again, more people voted for Kerry than Reagan. If the media are looking for a trend it should be this -- that so many Americans were, for the first time since Kennedy, willing to vote for an out-and-out liberal. The country has always been filled with evangelicals -- that is not news. What IS news is that so many people have shifted toward a Massachusetts liberal. In fact, that's BIG news. Which means, don't expect the mainstream media, the ones who brought you the Iraq War, to ever report the real truth about November 2, 2004. In fact, it's better that they don't. We'll need the element of surprise in 2008.

Aw STFU, Mike. EVEN MORE PEOPLE STOOD IN LINE TO SAY "HELL, NO!" TO JOHN KERRY & JOHN EDWARDS & THE PRESS (US AND EUROPEAN). It was very satisfying and we are enjoying your pained responses struggling to make sense of "how" you could lose. You guys really don't get it. You are that out of touch. Bush Country is genuine. You are myopic. "How could he win? I don't know ANYONE who voted for him!"

Despite the Zogbyism and negativity, good triumphed over evil.

my understanding is that they only won michicgan and pennsylvania due to voter fraud in philidelphia and detroit.

There should be significant intimidation going on. Felonies are serious.

should be a new law: US Attorneys should provide election monitors: monitor all election counts (that have federal positions up) with time registered video tape that would hold up in court. (ok CD would be find). voter fraud is a felony.

I like the UN recommendation to mark each voter with indelible ink. That would be a start.
