I Posted This On DU...

Having lurked without posting on DU (knowing I would want to see their reaction and post a "SO THERE!" after the election)I still have access......

Let me tell, you they are FURIOUS.... reports of crying, vomiting, moving out of the country (claiming other countries will welcome the 'brain drain' LOL), making new political parties, creating the most massive protest the world has ever seen at the inauguration, plans to boycott businesses owned by 'Rethugs', plans to organize a movement to block Bush's presidency and the Republican House & Senate, demand recounts anyway, disown Kerry for caving (lots and lots of calling Kerry bad names here), refusal to 'unite' ("hell no! unite with a murderer??"), multiple pledges to DODGE THE DRAFT, and on and on......

They are also quite shocked and puzzled. Where were the youth votes?? Where were the black votes? The hispanic votes? Michael Moore promised them the election! How could millions and millions of voters choose someone who read "my pet goat"??? When everyone knows Bush masterminded and engineered 9/11???

Anyway, here's what I posted. I made if fairly brief (as there is apparently a problem w/ attention spans with liberals).

HERE'S WHAT WENT WRONG.

Far from being a solid candidate, Kerry is only one in a multitude of interchangeable ABBs; a grotesque caricature of a candidate, merely a front man for the getBush crowd.

In their all-consuming hatred of Bush, the Democrats forgot they had to find a candidate with real substance - one that shell-shocked and fearful Americans could look to for safety, truth, and guidance in our newly-crazy world.

Instead, the getBush crowd has been so immersed in their Guiness-World-Record-Book-worthy tantrum and taken their hatred for Bush so seriously, they thought everyone else did, too, and would agree that ABB was a good enough candidate even in this unprecedented time of danger!

In Kerry, aka ABB, the Democrats have failed to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. They further insulted the nation by trying to foist an enemy collaborator on the nation at the very time when our military is in harm's way.

Not to mention that disgusting Tuh-Ray-Zuh.... faux "African-American"..... the DNC didn't hide her soon enough. We suffered through 8 years of that sleazoid king Slick Willy along with that COW Hitlery.. America was not about to suffer another 4 - 8 yrs of trailer park trash in the White House.

I say "Good riddance to bad rubbish - the whole lot of them".

When you all leave America, just don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out, please.

While you all run around screeching about the draft, please note that it has been the DEMOCRATS who introduced recent bills. Also, take your heads out of that dark place and know that Clinton had a draft "plan", too! Just like every other president in history has had a "plan" for every possible scenario...

While your brains are airing out, consider also that Iraq is part of a GLOBAL, not REGIONAL, war on terror...

How the hell are they going to do that from a party of anti military, abortion loving, gun grabbing boobs.
Just look at the parade of idiots starting with McGovern-Carter-Mondale-Dukacis-Clinton-Gore Kerry
Not a sane mind in the bunch

HHH was the last normal human being they fielded and he was preceded by LBJ another wack job

it may turn out that--to put it bluntly--the other side got more votes

Now THAT is a great quote, maybe one of the top ten quotes of this election (in an election filled with really, really great wordage).

Kerry Lied, My Dreams Have Died!
Moore Lied, My Dreams Have Died!
Springsteen Lied, My Dreams Have Died!
Couric Lied, My Dreams Have Died!
(this is actually getting easier with cut and paste).
Carville Lied, My Dreams Have Died!
hey, do the rest yourself, Jon Stewart coming right up. Ya know, little Beebers, watching the old-media today has just been fun and outright stuneing. Oh my goodness, we did all this work and we lost! Oh No! They just don't get it.

They all want jobs, but they hate corporations. They all complain about the price of gas, but they hate the oil companies. They all want free health care, but they hate the drug companies.

Perfectly put! Let me ride this wave a little further: they hate authority but they want an authoritarian government that will take charge of their lives. They hate morality but they want a moral society in which everyone takes care of everyone else. They hate money but they want everyone to have plenty of it. They hate class differences but they are snobs to the core (Frat boy, chimp remarks). Yeah, they all have a bad case of approach-avoidance conflict. LOL!

Reagan had a 2nd inauguration ball in 1985. Lincoln had one in 1865. Madison also had one after his 2nd inauguration.

Same thing up here in Berkeley. Folks are quiet. Most of the K-E signs have been taken down. Of course, the UN flag is still flying in front of their City Hall.

I worked one of my college roommate enough to get him to vote for Bush....he voted largely for Bush because he ended up agreeing that Kerry didn't have much for "plans."

Today, he told me "Kerry quit like a little girl."

lol

He said he is glad he voted for Bush.

I think there's some life left in them, if they can moderate their views and get back some of the people they drove out of the party. There's a whole bunch of folks, Zell Miller being the latest prominent example, who have a natural affinity for the Democrat party, if they could just find a niche within it that would welcome their views. The Democrats challenge will be to take back control from the extremeists who have seized control.

yeah... I once attributed "shut up and sing" to Ann Coulter, and it was my other favorite chick - Laura Ingrahm.

I like both women professionally, intellectually, and ideologically. Too bad I only went to UT Austin School of Law.

I coulda been a contenduh.

Ann on a mountain drinking beer. My kinda woman.

Okay, Not bad for a yankee - but Ann drinks beer and moves really fast when idiots are throwing pies at her.

this was quoted from post #8, which the moderator pulled:

"It's time to take a stand and stop worrying what Republicans think. We have to stop worrying about SPEAKING OUT because "Oh, but...but...the REPUBLICANS will attack us!" They shove us? Well we shove them right the F#CK BACK! It's time to start getting vocal -- not later, NOW."

i did not realize that the word "nuance" was spelled F-#-C-K. i guess i learned something today.
