Bush will definitely win Fla and Nevada, and probably New Mexico and Iowa. Kerry will take Hawaii and New Hampshire.

I'm not so sure about Bush winning Ohio right now. He might have to pick up WI or MN to win. If it comes down to that, it's going to be a rough night.

HAaaaaaaaaaahahah...this map is hilarious! First clue- they're calling North Carolina undecided- leaning to GWB!

I have family and friends in N.C.- they say even the Dems are voting against Edwards!!!

This map has been skewed using desperation as a guide for weeks now...

They seem to be highly optimistic, but if it goes down like that it will be the end of Alaska. Kerry will finish the job Carter started.

Forget this.

THIS is a real predictor:

Halloween masks predict next president (100% accuracy since 1980)(Bush leading)

If the author of the website is not "cheating," then all this means is that a new round of polls came in showing Bush down. What matters is which polls just came in, because that web site uses only the ONE most recent poll from any given state. And as you can see from the polling data:
58.5,4,Florida,27,49,47,,Oct 30,,,,,,,,Zogby-4
58.0,3,Indiana,11,58,39,,Oct 29,,,,,,,,Survey USA-3
58.5,4,Michigan,17,48,47,,Oct 30,,,,,,,,Zogby-4
58.5,4,Minnesota,10,49,46,,Oct 30,,,,,,,,Zogby-4
58.5,4,Wisconsin,10,52,44,,Oct 30,,,,,,,,Zogby-4
Most of these new results are from a Zogby poll. So all this means is that one pollster (Zogby) currently has Bush down. But remember, Zogby says he thinks Bush will win... this is nothing to get undergarments in a twist over.

Is there an electoral vote projection site that is unbiased--not too left, not too right?

Having said that, this is the rare EV projection by serious dems that projects a Kerry EV victory that I've seen so far.

what was RCP's 2000 prediction?

Regarding this map and the other map, no recent poll has Kerry ahead.

The last three polls have Bush ahead by about one point, after two summer polls having Kerry ahead.

"what was RCP's 2000 prediction?"

If you're trying to imply that past success confers credibility, then the Mason-Dixon Polls should be your choice. *cough*

Of course, you sound like a Dem Weasel, so I doubt you'll like their projections. They too can be found at:

Thanks, I should have said "besides RCP". :)

I get the feeling the guy who runs RCP is a W backer. Anyway, his "raw" data is all right there to see. I am not sure I trust his poll average--too many variables.

"I am not sure I trust his poll average--too many variables."

Me neither, and averaging different sets of data is unsound (hence the Kyoto Hockey Stick Hoax). What I do is look primarily at the mean between Zogby & Mason-Dixon
