I received this email and took a look at the site. Good info. Looks like they did some research on the subject. I’ll re-think my position on John Kerry. Looks like he’s the one for a draft or national service at the very least.

If any of your lib friends come up to you and tell you that the draft might
come back, here's what you do:
1. Feign becoming upset.
2. State "I would never vote for ANYONE in a political party that would
bring back the draft!"
3. Engage them in a conversation in the topic - get them riled up.
4. Get them to agree that bringing back the draft is a bad idea and that
whatever party is sponsoring it should not be running the Government.
5. After they agree, say "We need to do some research, to see what
individuals are sponsoring legislation to bring back the draft - and vote
everyone in that party out of office!"
6. Walk over to the computer and go to the House of Representatives website
http://www.house.gov and look up HR 163 "Reinstate Draft Bill" and while
you're doing it with your liberal friend, mumble under your breath "I can't
believe these dirty politicians want to bring back the draft - we need to
get rid of those guys who are sponsoring it".
7. Act VERY surprised when you look up the sponsor of the bill. "Oh my
gosh... it's not a Republican, it's Charlie Rangel, a Democrat!"
8. Look up the co-sponsors, "Oh my gosh... they're ALL Democrats - all 14 of
them!!".
9. Say, "Well, let's see what the Senate has to say on this". Go to the
Senate website http://www.senate.gov and look up S89 "Reinstate Draft Bill".
10. Say, "We need to vote these guys out too!" Act surprised when you find
the sponsor of the bill is Fritz Hollings - a Democrat!
11. Look at your lib friend and say, "We agreed, we need to vote out the
party that is trying to bring back the draft - so we have to vote out all
the Democrats".
The DIM stalking horse of the draft has been transparently obvious for some time to anyone not drinking the MSM koolaid.

The Rat elitists are not opposed to a draft in principle. After all, the Soviet Union that they so admire and miss had compulsary military service.
I've never claimed Bush WANTS a draft. I just fear that America's widening military involvement in the Middle East - desired by the neocons, and by some of Kerry's people too -- will require a draft, whether these policy-makers actively want one or not. Don't be so sure I'm wrong - time will tell.

LOL! Yes, you only claimed he was going to impose a draft...many, many times.
Not that many military people resigned because of Clinton, and I can tell you right now, Clinton was dispised. Instead, they continued to do their duty despite Clinton.
HOWEVER, I do believe that many will leave if Kerry wins. But it won't be because of who Kerry the man is, it will be because their commander in chief will place them at the mercy of UN leadership and euro-courts.

Clinton was despised. He was a draft dodger. A different sort of coward than the one who dodged trouble for three months while awarding himself three Purple Hearts and coming home to ridicule and endanger every soldier who remained in harm's way.
Kerry is a different nut entirely. Clinton is a lovable, harmless sort while Kerry is vile and of a very base nature. Kerry, instead of climbing a tree and living in his own feces, protested the war in Vietnam by meeting with the enemy and SIDING with them.
There's no comparing Clinton and Kerry. Clinton is a socialist dweeb. Kerry is a communist SCUMBAG!! Our Military will suffer greatly under such a TRAITOR.

I am torn on this issue, while I have my retirement paperwork completed in case Kerry does win, I also feel that if I leave I may be doing a diservice to the Marines under me. From what I've seen and heard it's the senior SNCO's and Officer's that will retire if this happens. I may not retire early due to my sense of loyalty to my junior Marines and the Marine Corps. If we all leave(SNCO's)we will end up hurting the Marines we have worked so hard to train, and in turn hurt our beloved Marine Corps. Just my thoughts.
