Yes, Rush has been talking about this since the Abu Ghraib scandal surfaced.

So that's why they amended the Constitution to make it an impeachable offense to make POWs wear undies on their heads.

too bad they don't control the house and won't have the votes in the senate.

Your friend is delusional. The House Impeaches and the Senate tries the case. There's no way in bloody hell that the House will impeach W. It's ludicrous to even talk about it.

I wouldn't mind seeing them try. It'll be obvious to all that any such attempt is illogical and motivated by hatred, and the Democrat Party will become even more marginalized.

Since it worked so well for us they are going to try it? Well let them.

They want to try to impeach Bush, whereas Clinton was impeached, but alas, not convicted.
I'll say that they deserve credit for creativity, but if their goal is to really just eliminate the Democrats as a political party of significance, this would be the A Number One choice method of going about it.

The American people aren't going to be upset that a few terrorist-wanna-bes got stripped naked and got panties on their heads.
If they think they got a winning issue with the American people, BRING IT ON. It just means the Democratic Party will disappear a little sooner.

Republican House + Republican Senate = No impeachment.
To: joevberry333
Article 1, Section 2, of the Constitution specifies that "the House of Representatives...shall have the sole power of impeachment." So the odds of a Republican House...
(A House of Representatives gerrymandered by the Dems to be Republican so that the Dems could preserve THEIR jobs until the end of time - Law of Unintended Consequences, LOL!)
....a Republican House of Representatives would ever impeach George W. Bush are somewhere between zero and a negative number.
Either they really ARE all crazy, or that must be some amazing stuff they're smokin' over there!
To: joevberry333
Time for Congressional Republicans to take the gloves off and start exposing Pelosi, Conyers, Rangel, McDermott, Stark, and the rest of the "progressive" caucus as the card-carrying communists they are. Sure, they're gonna get indignant and scream "red-baiting" and such, but screw 'em. Pound 'em every day as the Disciples of Marx they are.
Anybody here in Tom Delay's district? He would be the one to get the ball rolling, especially since the neobolsheviks are the ones trying to hang him on ethics charges.
To: joevberry333
Great! Means they think he'll be re-elected too!

Are you aware that several attempts were made to impeach Ronald Reagan by the ludicrous liberals in the Senate? I don't think it did him any harm whatsoever.
