Stick with the amusement option, DU can serve a useful purpose if you indulge your sense of humor while there.
Whenever I go to DU it's strictly for laughs. Nothing that is posted over there can be taken seriously or you would begin to wonder if you have slipped through a crack in the space-time continuum and entered an alternate universe. Up is down, day is night, black is white, etc.
Sometimes I have to wonder if DU is just a whacky put-on. It's hard to imagine that actual people could be so far out of touch with reality.
