I think J f'n "flip-flop fop fake" Kerry was expecting to throw Bush off his pace....and didn't expect that classic response .....(see tag line)...
Early on in the debate, Kerry took almost an entire allotment to make the point that since Bush couldn't debate with his record, "so he's attacking me". He then proceeded to attack Bush first thing (before answering the question) in every response.
Also, did you get that last question? To Bush, the lady asked "name some mistakes you've made and how you fixed them", or something like that. Well, when it was Kerry's turn, he anwered the question "name some mistakes Bush has made...". The question should not have been asked.
