Hello FR! BlOGGERS BROKE THE MEMO STORY! Why Are They On A Side Street Of This Site?
Oct. 1, 2004 | conservativecorner

Can someone at FR please explain to me why bloggers info must be posted to some obscure side street called the Bloggers Forum? They broke the memo story, and just today are debunking (Wizbang) a Boston Globe story asserting that the memos are still real. Let's jump into the 21st century and understand that these folks are valuable resources in our fight to save our country. Several weeks ago we could post away when the memo story was breaking, but now we must go back to the ridiculous Bloggers Forum. STUPID, GOOFY, DUMP, SHOOTING ONE'S SELF IN THE FOOT. You get the idea!

Actually, FR broke the story and the bloggers picked it up.

Actually, it was Buckhead who broke the story on FR. The bloggers just picked it up.

Which Rathergate stories have been moved to the blogging section?

They broke the memo story

A freeper (Buckhead) started the ball rolling on the Rather forged memo story.

Those are vanity posts and have nothing to do with posting news from bloggers sites, but thanks for a bunch of nothing.

You are right, but INDC was the first out of the box with an expert. Point taken though.

Bloggers didn't breeak the story. Freepers did. On a bulletin board called Free Republic. Get your facts straight or die a troll's death. (It's election time. We're busy.)

This one is breaking News. In fact, I suggest we move all single-thought threads by people into Breaking News.

Agreed. I'd hate to think that there are thousands of FReepers out there who would miss this.

Several weeks ago we could post to the main forum from any bloggers site while the memo story was hot, but today I see that they have reinstituted the "bloggers forum" crap once again. Go to http://wizbangblog.com/ and tell me that it Isn't breaking news worthy of the main thread.

A freeper (Buckhead) started the ball rolling on the Rather forged memo story.

Actually, it was FReeper, TankerKC, who first called the (as broadcast) memos into question -- based on their inconsistency with military style elements. (That was well before the PDFs became available on CBS's website.)
