"I actually voted for the 87 billion, before I voted against it".
Why he did it:
Without a provision to increase taxes for upper income Americans, Kerry refused to support our troops in combat.
This is not a position he can defend, as will be proven tomorrow night, imho. It is devastating.
A vanity stating the obvious.
I could swear that he said before that he voted against it because he wanted it to be a loan to be repaid by Iraq--I guess that was the flip because this nonsense about not doing it unless taxes are raised on "the rich" is most definitely a flop--C
I also remember that. But I believe the tax the rich statement is more recent.
Btw, be sure and pray for the kittens God will kill on my behalf. I feel so guilty going against God by insulting such huge intellect that I am opening up cans of Fancy Feast even as I type to redeem myself.
Being a cat lover, I'm really, really sorry to hear about the kitten thing (despite the fact that I'm new here and am apparently somewhat out o' the loop as to what that's all about)--C

...Being a cat lover, I'm really, really sorry to hear about the kitten thing (despite the fact that I'm new here and am apparently somewhat out o' the loop as to what that's all about)--C...
Well, let's just clear that up. I didn't know God was going to kill innocent little kittens on account of me stating something that was already known to some asshole.

Transcript of John Kerry acceptance speech
"You don't value families if you force them to take up a collection to buy body armor for a son or daughter in the service, if you deny veterans health care, or if you tell middle class families to wait for a tax cut, so that the wealthiest among us can get even more."

If you really want to see flip-flopping read the transcript of his interview with Peter Jennings. I had a link to it but it no longer works. I saw the interview myself and the guy starts out "I'm a Catholic and believe life begins at conception" and some 10-15 minutes later in the same interview says that first trimester abortion isn't murder and that a woman should have her choice.
