I've been told that there may well already have been some war gaming going on for specific issues...particularly the big-tail supercavitator.

How are your books based on? Are they actual stories of wars or stories from folks you came in contact with while venturing on these volumes? Curious in West Virginia.

After marketing a novel to the publishing industry for over two years, I have figured out that it is
not a matter of "write a good book and they'll publish it," despite the fact that this sounds like common sense and despite the fact that the publishing industry claims that it does indeed work this way.
TRUTH: Marketing to the publishing industry is a numbers game, plain and simple. After you've written a saleable work (something most writers never come close to doing), it becomes a matter of getting the piece in front of the right person on the right day at the right time in the right mood. So, like you say, maybe it will come to the attention of the right person someday. We never know, Jeff. So we keep plugging and praying and hoping.

Amen MM...and it's in God's hands as far as I am concerned. I have offered it up, with a real and good intent, and then done my best to promote it as my means will allow...after that it is in His hands and I will be content with whatever measure of promotion and exposure it gets.
Quite frankly, I am quite pleased to have finished the project and seen the several thousand sales I have.
As always, thanks for your advise and encouragement.

Well, bestsellers when it comes to eBooks is a very relative term. And they were only that way for a few weeks at most and eBooks require very negligible sales (comparing to printed books) to get there.
But, having said that, I certainly would rather have that distinction than not and I thank you sincerely for your kind words and encouragement.

Just maintianing my schedule my friend...and in the end, getting these books and their messages out to the widest possible audience is the key...and you are not slacking to me in any way shape or form in that regard.
Here's to both of us reaching that 10K unit milestone!
