Hmmm, a Lucy Ramirez is listed as Production Assistant on "Bruce Almighty." Hey, maybe this is her, and God Himself gave her the documents. But since the docs are fake (but accurate!) maybe they're really trying to bring down God, not just Bush. (LOL, all said in sarcasm, o'course, but there really is a Lucy Ramirez as Prod. Bring me the head of Lucy Ramirez.

Who is Lucy Ramirez ? Is she the mastermind behind the Killian memos. Was she also behind the "The Fallen Madonna With the Big Boobies" forgeries ? A brave patriot who fights for the truth ? Or is she too a hapless pawn. Is her life endangered as Bill Burkett fears ? Is she still alive ? Was she ever alive ? Can we expect a multiple string of murders in Texas of women named Lucy Ramirez ? These are some of the questions that must be investigated. But this story is too hot for the mainstream media so it’s up to the bloggers.

I believe that Ramirez is, or was, a hapless pawn. Whoever that master chess player behind all this is, he or she is much too clever to reveal their true identity this clumsily. And only a master criminal can hope to fool Bill Burkett.

But does Bill Burkett’s story make sense ? Why would Lucy Ramirez arrange for a meeting with Bill Burkett, to hand over important documents but then not show up ? What would be the point ? The answer is obvious. With Bill Burkett’s phones being tapped, she was dead within two hours of making that call. Indeed she may have already have been dead and the woman who made the call, if it was a woman, might not have been Lucy Ramirez, but an impostor. But we will never know because that woman or man would have been dead before they could have gotten off the phone.

But the Master was too clever to just leave it at that. If Lucy Ramirez does not show up, Bill Burkett will smell a rat. And anyone who has managed to stay alive as long as Burkett has, knowing the things he knows and doesn’t know, is not the kind of man I would want on my trail. However dangerous it may be, he has to be dealt with.

So the meeting had to go forward as planned. But how can the meeting take place if Ramirez is dead ? Simple, you use an impostor. This means that the person who gave Bill Burkett the memos was NOT Lucy Ramirez but was actually the murderer who used Ramirez’s clothes and mannerisms ! He couldn’t kill Burkett right then and there in public. That’s why Burkett arranged for the meeting at a public livestock show, where there would be too many alert witnesses, armed against rustlers. Not that he would necessarily have been suspicious of Ramirez, but after all, he had never met her before. She might not have any papers but is just trying to lure Burkett into a trap. And besides, she was probably Mexican, so it would make sense to take the usual precautions.

But, if he can’t kill Burkett, what can he do ? It’s simple. Bill Burkett is expecting damaging memos on Bush. So you give him damaging memos on Bush. Except, you don’t give him the original memos you got from Ramirez before she died. Instead, you burn those, type and print the fake memos and instruct Burkett to make copies of the fake memos and then burn the original fake memos. Burkett is no novice and can be depended on to do things in the right order. That way, the original fake memos can never be traced back to the murderer and through him, the Master. Naturally, Burkett did as he was instructed, but instead of protecting Ramirez, he was unknowingly protecting her murderer.

But to make this work, the murderer has to be very careful. First of all, he must not give Burkett the original memos. Yes, it’s true, Burkett would be expecting the real memos, so it would seem natural to just fool him and give him what he expects. But, if the murderer does that, he’s would be just doing what Ramirez was going to doing herself. This would just negate the murder of Ramirez.

So he must give him the fake memos. But he can not tell Burkett that these are the fake memos either because Burkett will probably figure out that he is being used. So what he must do is give Burkett the fake memos but tell him that that these are the real memos.

By the time Burkett has wised up, the trail is cold. And with the constant media interviews interspersed with seizures, there just won’t be enough time for him to track down the real murderer. That is why Burkett can not do this alone. He needs help. If Lucy Ramirez is to be avenged, it is up to us. Anyone who has any information should call Bill Burkett at (TEX) FRT-CAKE. But use a public phone, or the phone of someone you really dislike, wear gloves and a good disguise, don’t give him your real name, just say your a friend of Lucy, keep the call brief and to the point and then run like hell.
