The Blogspirator took a close look at these and noticed.... Boat Registration Fees Paid... $.00!!!
Example:
There are actually FIVE boats that appear to have been registered for $.00
See them all at http://www.wrko.com/listingsEntry.asp?ID=177492&PT=
You will also note that Kerry apparently has a fancy for Yamaha brand yachts.
UPDATE
Strangely enough, the fees for boat registration in Massachusetts are pretty low, so it makes what appears to be an abuse of power a very petty thing to do for a billionaire.
From the Mass DMV Website
Motor Boat Registration (Two years) | |
Length | Fee |
Under 16 ft | $40 |
16 to <> | $60 |
26 to <> | $80 |
40 ft plus | $100 |
Title | $25 |
Duplicate Title | $15 |
Adding Lien Holder | $15 |
Resident ATV and/or Snowmobile | $40 (Two Years) |
Non-Resident ATV and/or Snowmobile | $30 (One Year) |
Transfer of Registration | $15 |
Duplicate Registrations | $10 |
You can't expect for someone worth hundreds of millions to come up with a couple hundred bucks can you?
Well, at least he named the one yacht with a name that's partially pronounced "mooch".
Remember, that Kerry is the RAISE TAXES MAN, because the GOVERNMENT needs more money to finance ALL THE NECESSARY THINGS IT NEEDS TO PROVIDE...BUT....
YOU are going to pay for it, not Mr. Kerry....the good ole' far-left lib DOUBLE STANDARD at work for you!!!!
Woder if he also gets a free ride on the SUV's - which belong to his family, not him ?
Yeah, but Bush didn't take his flight physical three months after he stopped flying.
"Don't you know who I am?!?"
It seems to me that if the Kerrys are serious and honest (no way) about their beliefs, they would sell all that they have and give it to the poor.
Let them limit themselves to $200,000 per year with one house and two cars. If they did that, I might, possibly, maybe believe their platitudes.
But he "won" three purple hearts and was in Vietnam.
Isn't that enough?
( I always hate the term "won" for purple hearts I believe they are earned)
