I regard people such as these as goose-stepping Leftists, first cousins to fascists, who have wrongly expropriated the term 'liberal'. The fact is, in the real world, liberal attitudes are associated with at least some practical constraints and can exist across the political spectrum. Somewhat analogous to the difference between having an open mind and an empty head.
Dude, you're right on! I have only one comment. People are NOT supposed to have an "open mind". That was a fascist/communist word manipulation foistered on us back in the 60's. You see, when you have an "open mind", that means any kind of crap can be poured into it. We are supposed to have a "discerning" mind, where we evaluate information.
