Fair question BUT.........we must be realistic. The all volunteer military was established to create a "reliable" service. That is............if you sign up it is because you want to serve your country. You must pass much more stringent requirements then in days of old where just about anyone could get drafted. If a draft was re-inacted it would throw all branches of the military into a real quagmire.........how could they possibily hope to train drafted people who want nothing to do with the military to perform to their standards, where they are required to fight and put their hides, out on the line?
I'm telling you folks, the Demos are much slicker and evil then many of you could ever imagine. I'll leave it go at that.

We did pretty well with draftees in WWII. I think that if there is a consensus that we need it, the draft would work just fine.

Now is not the time. Perhaps after the next 9/11.
