Can't wait to give this to one of my news anchors this morning. He's been deeply saddened this past week or so with the 60 Minutes debacle and the FR involvment.
Yesterday I gave him the article from WSJ Opinion Journal with it's mention of FR and giving credit to the birth of memogate to FR. He turned GREEN! hehehehehe!
The best thing is his two teenage sons who he has tried to forge into clones of him. He can't stand computers or the net, basically because he's too uncoordinated to use a computer. (Everything on line is a LIE! Only jerks use computers...REAL news is in the papers and on TV/radio)) But his kidz really put him down the other day when they refused to watch the evening news with him and told him the best way to get timely, ACCURATE news is online!
Poor Hankie is SO clueless I have to REPEATEDLY show him how to use the "Back" button in IE. He gets lost looking at stories on Drudge. Then when he can't navigate he gets frustrated, starts throwing stuff around and yelling "BILL GATES IS SATAN!"
Remember the old Mary Tyler Moore show set in a TV newsroom? Hankie was the model for newscaster Ted Baxter. Seriously! The Writers came to Pittsburgh and followed Hankie around for a week or so taking notes. (he was a TV news anchor at the time) Hankie thought they were admiring him but in reality they were laughing. He was, and still is clueless.
