The Democratic Party feeds on your misfortune and encourages it.
Why, that’s ridiculous you say. They simply understand my predicament. They are human and they understand human issues. They’re trying to make the world better.
That is a misconception people. They love that you are addicted to drugs. They will give you entitlements so that you can stay addicted to drugs. They love that you are on welfare, in fact, they will increase it so you can stay on welfare. They are only too happy to encourage you to practice an immoral lifestyle. They thrive on your being unemployed. They gleefully back the trial lawyers that keep you from getting healthcare.
Now, you think I’m crazy, don’t you? Michael Moore has exposed that it’s the Republican Party that wants to hurt you, right? If the Democratic party wants my vote, why would they wish me ill fortune?
Let me tell you why. If you are using drugs, unemployed, on welfare, impoverished, or sexually immoral, you feel insignificant. You don’t participate in government because you assume that people better than you have it under control. You don’t feel important or worthy enough to participate.
The reason they like you to feel insignificant is because insignificant people don’t vote their conscience. Insignificant people are willing to be hoarded into busses and told how to vote. Insignificant people don’t write their congressman making demands. Insignificant people will sit by and let the government govern itself with no accountability to the people. Insignificant people look up to mediocre people, and thereby were satisfied to have a pot smoking, draft dodging, adulterer ruling this country. Insignificant people are easily manipulated and controlled by their needs and addictions.
That is why it is in the Democrats’ best interest to keep you unemployed, addicted to drugs, and on welfare. They keep you feeling insignificant so that they can manipulate your vote, and then you will just sit back and let them wreak havoc on this nation without making a peep. After all, who are you to question their judgement? You don’t have a job. You are too hungover to care. You need the check they send you to feed your kids. You are insignificant, and four years from now you will still be insignificant and loaded onto a bus to go vote for the Democrats.
Liberal ladies and gentlemen living with poverty and addiction it is time to rise up and bite the hand that feeds you because it is feeding you nothing but poison.

Oh so glad to be here. I lost alot of the posts on my blog when I converted it to blogspot. I didn't realize that one was still on there.

That's a good choice of metaphor and a good column. ...good work! Speaking for many dads, here's a thanks to you.
This reminds me of something I was thinking about today - an old Simpsons episode (I think Johnny Carson had a part?) where Krusty the Klown has competition, loses the rights to the Itchy and Scratchy cartoons, and all he can afford to show is some oppressive black and white Russian thing called "Worker and Parasite".
And that's exactly what the Left lives and breathes. They won't be complete until they have to wait in line all day for two left shoes and some 24 grit toilet paper.
