If McAuliffe says it

Posted on 09/10/2004 9:49:33 PM PDT by planekT

Sadly, after McAuliffes' suggestion that an enterprising young reporter should be quesioning Carl Rove instead of himself, a few people apparently became reporters and concluded that these "new" documents concerning G.W. Bush are created by Carl Rove.

Yep, people actually called in and named Carl Rove as the man who is responsible for the documents.

A lie is easily told, and just as easily repeated. But a lie can never be proven to be the truth.

Ancient Republican Proverb.

McAuliff should abandon John Kerry and start working on 2008. If he doesn't... He won't be around in 2008 to do anything.

You say that like it's a BAD thing. If Republicans had anything to do with it, that'd make these memos just one more rope-a-dope that the DIMs jumped into.

Marching orders for the hate-bots. Funny thing when you're peddling a lie... communications to the base have to be made in press conferences/movies/owned media.

"But a lie can never be proven to be the truth."

Tell that to John Kerry and Bill Clinton....(chuckle). For these two typical reprobates, they are one and the same.

Yeah, I can see this now.

Karl Rove calls up Bob Barnes, top key Kerry major player and says "Hey buddy, can ya do me a favor? I want you to go on TV and say you helped GW get into the TANG after you swore under oath a few years back that you didn't. And by the way, here's some documents I want to give you to pass on to the Kerry campaign. Note how they show that my guy was trying to pull strings to get out of doing his service and avoid having to take physicals. Make sure you hand this stuff over to CBS. Good luck with this mission if you decided to accept it!"

Yep, Bob Barnes is regular Manchurian Candidate, a robot brainwashed years ago by Karl Rove and now this clever ploy by Rove not only removes a major Kerry backer from the picture, it also does explosive damage to both the Kerry campaign and CBS News.

The fact is when McAullife realizes they are caught, all he can do is level a finger at a prominent Republican advisor and go "The intellectual descendent of Nicolo Machievelli fooled me! What brilliance! Boy, is that guy smart or what? What genuis! What sheer elan'! How could he know we wouldn't spot they were obviously forgeries and not use them! Oh, he reads us like a book!"

Barnes is the slimiest of slimeballs. His own daughter says he's lying. Hannity asked her how he reacted to her statement. He wasn't too happy about it she said.

Yea, I can imagine he wasn't. Insert knife, turn slowly.

They'll get what's coming to them shortly. This is our government. We can vote the ratbags out.
