I hate to tell them but their ship had sunk.

I got home from seeing President Bush in NE Ohio a little bit ago, he did talk about the issue's, he did tell about tax reform, Social Security, Homeland Security, fighting terrorism etc...unlike Kerry who has only his 4 months in Vietnam to talk about we heard about what really matters to us.

The only counter to this is to get mean. I mean real mean.

Comparing Bush to Hitler isn't mean? The mudslinging lies of Michael Moore and Ted Rall isn't mean? What do these people mean, "mean"?

The Democrats deserve to get stomped, next time pick someone who reflects your beliefs.

That's their problem. The Democrat party has drifted so far left that any candidate that reflect the party beliefs has no chance of becoming dog catcher.

More proof that the only war leftists are ever prepared to fight is a war against fellow Americans who happen to be Republicans.

This DU poster is delusional. A 60/40 Kerry landslide? In the entire history of the Democratic Party since the time of Andrew Jackson, their candidate has only reached the 60% level twice--FDR in 1936 and LBJ in 1964. Since the end of WWII, the only time the Democrat has gotten as much as 51% of the popular vote was in 1964.

To DU: Meanness is not necessary or key. Honesty, and perception of it, is what is missing and important.

They have already been as mean as their imaginations can take them. They have no further down to go, that it is not guaranteed they are willing to go, if they only knew a more disgraceful behavior to pursue.

They've fired their ammunition, and there's nothing left to reload with but spitballs.

The only counter to this is to get mean. I mean real mean.

Bring it on! This president has shown that he can stand up to anything. Over the past four years, I have never seen a president so viciously attacked and maligned as George W. Bush. Not even Richard Nixon had it so bad. Yet this man has not only stood up to it but he has continued to stick to his convictions and do the job he was elected to do.

We have not had a terrorist attack in this country since 9/11. You know why? Because President Bush took the war across the ocean and what's left of the terrorists are too busy trying to survive in caves and spider-holes 8,000 miles away from America thanks to our brave and relentless troops (and president).

This is why President Bush was able to confidently take the stage at Madison Square Garden in New York City just a couple of nights ago despite giving the terrorists months of advance notice that he and the vice-president would be there that night. He knew that they weren't going to pose a threat. That's pretty cool.

So take that you anti-American pigs.

They haven't. They explicity made a choice in the early primaries to jump ship and get behind someone they felt was "electable". It didn't work, and it won't work. People aren't that stupid, though the typical Democrat believes they are.

You mark my words, if we do not get mean, very mean indeed and very mean very soon we do not stand a chance in this comming election.

But where do you go from "Bush is Hitler" and "Bush planned 9/11"? When the AP fabricates anti-Bush stories and they don't take, what's a Bolshevik to do?

"such as the alleged booing of Clinton yesterday"

This servers no other purpose than to fire up the base. This may mean they believe they are in real trouble. Can you say grasping at straws??

I think that's really hurting them now, politically. Everyone has heard all the "Bush is an idiot", "Bush is a chimp", "Bush dodged the draft in the Guard" nonsense so many times, they're already tired of hearing it, and it just has no political effect, other than to make the Left sound shrill and hateful. So really, it just makes them reveal themselves.

The only way they can get any meaner is to encite physical violence. I hope the FBI is watching.

DU is a nasty website I seldom if ever go there. I would rather have a more worthy opponent than what we have but they have cooked their own goose by going as far left.

They are going to have to do more than just get mean. They are going to have to have big nude protests and block traffic in cities.

I have done flyovers @ DU. Most of them sound young, very young .....like 6th graders who have just discovered the "F" word. Last time I looked, they were all aquiver about a Kelly book (read National Esquire or Globe) which will surely take the Bush Family down. LOL This is a great example of their "issues". Yes, it's scummy but also a sad place. They absorb rumor and innuendoes like a sponge - they don't challenge anything for facts.
