"Bring it on!" or "Make them stop!" ?

In his continuing implosion, Kerry has evidently decided to make suppression of free speech his new campaign nexus. Only six short days ago, Kerry uttered these words:

Of course, the President keeps telling people he would never question my service to our country. Instead, he watches as a Republican-funded attack group does just that. Well, if he wants to have a debate about our service in Vietnam, here is my answer: "Bring it on."

Kerry makes a feeble attempt at laying the consequences of his own actions coupled with the swift boat veteran's ire at the feet of George W. Bush. Well Senator Kerry, "That’s not good enough." You began this sir, some 30 years ago, long before President Bush entered the world stage. You started this fight; now finish it like a man -- if you can. You told them to "bring it on" yet you will not answer public questions. Instead, you hide behind the iconic image of a disabled veteran in a wheelchair.

Kerry’s response to the swift boat veterans consists of, 'How dare they question me, I’m John Kerry!' coupled with 'Make them stop!' Mr. Kerry’s pomposity is exceeded only by his wimpy-ness.

Mr. Kerry, How do you expect America to trust you to lead when you cannot even suck it up in a political battle of your own making? Your pathetic lack of leadership and forthrightness on this issue only buttresses the swift boat veterans' claim: You are unfit.

I heartily agree, if Kerry can't suck it up now, he'll have even more trouble sucking it up later if he were to be president. Kerry wants to be president, I have news for him, the criticism gets worse when you're the prez.

I for one am kind of NOT looking forward to Senator Kerry trying to defend his US Senate service. It could make Howard Dean's scream at the Iowa caucuses look like a minor even in comparison.
