You seem to forget that the pic that started it all was officers who, by the new definition of the DNC, did not "serve" with Kerry, because they were on different boats.
So the pic makes perfect sense. They may have met. Maybe even had a few beers together. But, unless they were on the same boat, at the same time, under fire, they never "served" together by the Kerry definition.
Strange definition of serving. When I was in the service I got to know literally all of the people in my shop. We had about 16, 4 man teams and believe me, we all knew what the others were doing all the time. In fact, I wasn't socially friendly with the other 3 on my team, but rather dozens from the other squads.
I suppose that NASCAR drivers really don't know Jeff Gordon, how he works, what moves they can anticipate etc. because they don't ride around with him at work.
The "Not in his boat" crowd is really fairly pathetic. I was watching a Democratic pundit the other day reciting the pledge: I pledge allegiance to the not in his boat flag of the United States of America. And to the republic not in his boat for which it stands, not in the same boat one nation
.
We should take up a collection to help these poor souls. They are really comic relief to watch on television. LOL :)
