I recently received an email from my brother, who is currently serving his third tour in the middle east since 9/11, stating that he is frustrated with the media's coverage of the war and their portrayal of the military. Where are the articles on the positive work they are doing in the middle east? Do we ever see the "incident onlookers" throwing home made bombs at our men and women in uniform?? Where is the fair and balanced truth?

It is one thing to piss off those of us in the states but it is clearly another when the men and women that are proudly serving our country are being impacted.

Does anyone have any ideas to show our support on a grander scale?? Or to strongly encourage the media to think of something other than selling newspapers??

Frustrated!!

My gripe is that it is one thing to aggrevate the folks at home but it is an entirely other animal when they turn their backs on the men and women that proudly defend and serve our country.
