I don't know if you can make up your mind what your stance is. At times, you get up on your soapbox going on long discourses about how the public school system is failing the youth of America, and then at others you describe how you would enjoy pissing on peasants. Which is it? Are you on a crusade to save young minds or do you find a sick pleasure in the feeling of superiority that you think your wide knowledge of grammar entitles you to? Are you your lowers' savior, come to end the educational atrocities that the public schools are causing, or does the fate of your lowers concern you less than the opportunity to snicker at their ignorance and flaunt your expertise in the English language? Do you feel it your duty to cruise these boards correcting grammar everywhere?

I'm not sure, either, exactly what your solution is to the problem of the "chimp," as you so delicately put it. Is he a young person in need of guidance, someone to tell him that he needs better and more education, or should he shut up and sit back down in front of his PlayStation? By the way, unfortunately I don't have more than a "passing familiarity" with PlayStations, but I took a few seconds to check out the proper spelling of the name since it seems to be a word that is very dear to you, and it is PlayStation, not Playstation.

I don't think that you realize that it was your arrogant post that offended me in the first place, and which offends me much more so than any ignorance posted here, which is fairly common. A true better would not lower himself to "piss on the peasants," but instead would try to help them. Your vituperating is causing you to spiral off into fantasyland. In fact, I called attention the near-illiteracy of the original poster, not his "childishness". Perhaps you should return to this when you are able to address the record as it actually exists, and not descend into attacking me for offenses that exist only within your fevered imagination.

I don't think you realize that I don't care that it offends you. I don't care that your alter-ego was offended. I don't care that the original SWO was offended and hurt, and neither does anyone else. Get over yourselves, the lot of you. Go have a group hug, or whatever it is you do to comfort yourselves when bad men cruelly report some aspect of reality to you.

Change comes from within. Unless and until well-meaning but idiotic people stop pretending that that sort of crap is acceptable in the adult world, nothing will ever be done, because you give all of them the perfect rationale for being lazy and doing nothing. People who need to be persuaded to save themselves are generally not worth the trouble involved in such an effort, especially not when I can count on someone like you coming along to tear down any attempt thereof, by rationalizing inaction in the name of self-esteem. Let me spell it out for you, one more time: NOBODY CARES HOW ANY OF YOU FEEL. If you want someone who does, buy a dog, but in the meantime, it's pretty damned arrogant of you, peasant, to require me to lie to the ignorant and uneducated because you don't want their little feelings to get hurt.
