Defending Bush on Other Forums

I also read other forums specifically related to my line of work, or other interests.

Inevitably people start posting about politics, the war in Iraq, Bush, etc.

Needless to say, Bush bashing is rabid. And every thing that happens in Iraq, such as the recent news of the treatment of prisoners in that prison, is fodder for them to defend their views of the war and Bush.

Just once, I'd like to post something to the effect that, even before the 2000 election was decided, people were against Bush with an unbelievable hatred. Then when all was said and done, they still believe he was selected and a secret worldwide conspiracy helped cause this and this big conspiracy is continuing on . . . well, you all get my drift.

Can anyone provide some good facts, information etc. that I can say to them to let them know that hey, you guys never liked the guy to begin with way, way before 9/11, the Democrats in Congress pooh-poohed every thing Bush did from the get-go.

I don't want to get down to their name-calling level but I want them to know that conservatives do get their information before they respond and I'd like some good, intelligent comebacks to the liberal sheeples.

I appreciate any and all help.

Funny you should post this. I was just surfing around and had read through a forum where the discussion was very heated. I look forward to replies you recieve. (At the moment I'm running off to start dinner.. laugh). I was thinking the same thing - they insight such emotion in me that I couldn't think straight to reply...

Had to laugh tho' because in the middle of the thread I was reading the 4 - 5 libs that were in the middle of the flame throwing had a discussion on WONDERFUL Air America and Al Franken are... sheesh
