Yes, we do "need to draw the line higher" than body part count, BUT the media, politicians and others use the word torture too frivolously.

What happened was NOT torture. Ask the Iraqis who endured it under Saddam. What happened in the prisons under American watch, while shameful, stupid, and obscene, was not torture. Unless you call porn flicks "torture."
