Ok, I'm too tired to try to solve all these problems tonight. I promise you I will work on fairness, level playing fields and such tomorrow. And I'll work on recruiting super-moderators that can each read and decipher 20,000 or more posts each and every day while reading the minds of the posters and who can judge at a glance who's at fault when two or more groups of people are at each others throats and then devise the perfect call that will satisfy the blood lust in all of the combatant's hearts without ticking off anyone. And, of course, to do it all fairly and consistantly.

It seems to me that just following the rules at the bottom of the screen "no profanity, no personal attacks, no racism or violence in posts" would work. Alamo Girl never told me to stop posting to her by the way (at least not that I saw, if she did, if she could point out the post I'll stand corrected). If she had, I would not have posted the other day (posts which did NOT contain personal attacks, but were pointed going after the STATEMENTS that she made). It seems to me that if you go after a person's statements, that is NOT harassment and that is NOT a personal attack. When you go after their PERSON then it is a personal attack. Both sides can play by that rule. What we can't deal with is being accused of harassment or "stalking" (please define this too as ALS was accused of this after ONE DAY of MUTUAL emails and freepmails (probably less than a dozen exchanges altogether) between himself and Alamo Girl). Alamo Girl also posted a long list of exchanges on the threads themselves, only about 5 (over 3 days) in which ALS actually addressed her personally. Likewise, at no time to Alamo Girl in any of her correspondence or on the threads tell him to stop posting to her. To me, stalking is following someone from thread to thread after they have told you not to and flooding them with freepmail day after day. You may define it differently. I don't know. But, from what I've seen, she did not prove her case that she was being "stalked" (and I would admit it if she had and if I thought ALS was out of order in what he said to her).
